love the size

love the small foot print of this generator even I can manage it and i'm a single 63 year old female.only for stars cause I haven't got to use yet. going to use in yard for electric pole saw and weedeater.but bought for back up power during electric outages I'm sure it will do what I need.price was pretty good also.

Initial Observations

I just powered up my iGen2200 today and don't have much experience so far. A screw driver is required remove 2 screws to open the side compartment to add or check oil. I'm used to generators with a one screw side panel that can open with a coin. I guess I'll keep a screw driver around. I also noticed when filling the oil that the electronics is not fully potted like some other competing products. Time will tell if there are reliability issues or not, but it got me to fill out my warranty registration. The generator started on the first pull and ran an 1800 watt hair dryer. At this point, it looks like an excellent value.

Light weight, easy setup and starting.

I have a 7550 watt generator that I use to run most things during lengthy power outages. I bought this one to run a small portable room air conditioner, TV and Internet modem/WIFI to save gas at night. I set it up and ran it through one tank of gas with a small space heater cycling on and off and a box fan running on high. Tank lasted for 10 hours. Looks like it will do the job nicely. Hope I never have to use it! LOL! Only negative is that it has no fuel gauge.

I use this generator to power a small freezer, a 32 led tv, 3 fans and some items to recharge (portable battery, cellphones) all at once. One single gallon lasts about ten hours compared with the regular Honda EB 2200 which provides about 9 hours with 2 gallons.

Good Generator

Does the job, and does it quietly. It not quite as good as a Honda, but when it comes to the price, you cannot do any better than this generator for around 2K watts.

Good Instructions Walked Me Through Startup Troubleshooting

After an initial week of frustration with myself and the unit because it refused to start, I read the instructions. I recommend this for everyone. The one-page cheat sheet is nice to have on hand for future reference, but I should have started with the owner's manual and saved myself the angst. This is a good, quiet, easy-to-move-around unit. It's not difficult to operate (once you understand how much oil to put in). I've had a larger generator in the past that was incredibly loud and heavy; this one isn't silent, but it's not going to have neighbors complaining if I have to use it into the night hours to keep a computer running during the next Florida weather event.

Great little generator

Started right up and very quiet for a generator. After initial startup, plugged in my mini fridge, 2 fans and 2 lights and then ran some power tools just to see how it would work. Never missed a beat. Went inside while I left the generator running with items plugged in and could not hear it running from inside the house. Love it so far!
