We have noticed a large increase in purchases from Spanish speaking customers. Please allow this review to be published as it will be useful for our Spanish speaking customers.
I'm impressed on how much power we can drag out of these little guys. I bought 2 of the IGen 2200w to be used pararelled. I live in Puerto Rico and after we got hit by hurricane Maria, I've been able to run my entire house out of these inverters. Of course, there is a lot of common sense when using a generator, they have being running 12+ hrs. daily for approximately a month now. Oil changes are religiously done every 3-4 days, wattage has been carefully calculated... we try not to overload them and stay away from using any appliance that requires heat (even the smallest one). These have been excellent in powering up our 2-door fridge (11.4 amps), a small separate freezer (14.6 amps), the entire house lights, 3 TVs, 3 fans, 2 computers, a wireless printer, our satellite internet modem and a UPS battery. Plus a few smaller things like cell phones, battery charging packs, rechargeable led lights, etc. They run 12 hours using about 1 gallon of gasoline for each unit... if you turn the fuel efficiency mode on it can run up to 15 hours. We prefer the regular mode m, as running on efficiency seems to put more workload on the motor... we definitively want these to last long, so we stopped using this feature. However, for people with smaller powerloads the fuel efficiency mode could be beneficial. I would definitively recommend this product... its quite... not silent, though, but a lot less noisy than traditional generators. I did a lot of research before going for Westinghouse and these are comparable in performance and durability to much more expensive generators like Honda and Yamaha. Very happy with my purchase!!!
