I bought the IGEN2200 based on other user reviews and the price at Power Equipment Direct. I haven't started it yet. I intend to use it for occasional power outages which occur in the winter. My house is wired with a transfer switch so the IGEN2200 will simply plug into the external port. The 2200 peak watts is enough power to handle the start-up surge of my refrigerator, gas furnace fan motor which is all that is required of it.
I would recommend this to a friend!
