The inverter is a very handy & reliable product. It is well built and easy to use. It competes well against the Honda inverter of the same size. I like that it has a longer run time.

Great Little Power Plant

I was updating from a (store brand) 800/900 2-cycle standard generator. I wanted quiet and clean and more power. While the 2200 is probably not quite big enough to run my RV AC, it will easily run everything else. And, at 50 vs 100lbs for a bigger unit, this is something I can manage for those times when I need it. I'm anxious to start boondocking and give it a workout.

LOOKING FORWARD TO BOONDOCKING. THIS SHOULD RUN EVERYTHING IN MY TRAVEL TRAILER, PERHAPS NOT THE AC, BUT IT'S A QUIET, POWERFUL UPGRADE FROM MY 2-CYCLE 800/900W AND THE POWER IS CLEAN.

I am gonna enjoy having the two units that weigh only about 40 lbs and are easy to transport and i will have about 3600 running watts for about $875$ i got both on sales and made off pretty good. A Honda at 3600 running watts is about $4000 these are just about as quiet just by a margin is the westinghouse louder..

Solid performance

I spent 28 years in the Marine Corps, 24 of it running mobile electrical power from 3,000 watts to 300,000 watts, this little generator really surprised me by it's performance. Received my Gen 3 days after ordering, opened box, read manual, filled with oil, one pull on cord and she fired right up. Let her run at idle to check for leaks, there where none, once warm I put a small load on, about 500 watts, ran smooth and quiet, ran for 30 min. No problems so I placed just over a 1000 watt load on and ran for 1 hour, again no problems, handled load great, the volume did go up a but still could talk next to it. Next day I load tested the gen with 17, 650 watts for 30 min, again no problems, she was louder but that little engine was running pretty hard so noise level was exceptable. Lowered the load back down to 1100 watts and ran for 1 1/2 hours, absolutely no problems and used about 1/2 tank of fuel. The Gen is a pretty good piece of gear but you have to remember that oil is the life of these small engines, do not miss an oil change, do not let it run on low oil, do not run on an incline. I will be doing my first oil change at 5 hours and depending on how hard I run it this summer will go with every 10 hours, it is only 11 ozs so one Qt will do almost 3 oil changes. I am happy I made this choice.
