I need a generator that will run the air conditioner on my travel trailer and other electronic equipment and any single unit is too large and heavy for this person in his 70's to handle but this unit running in parallel works well and I can still handle the 50 pounds in two separate units. I was also quite pleased that after reading the user manual and putting in the oil and fuel the generator started on the first pull.
Took it camping on a long weekend and it worked like a champ. The generator came with oil, which is very easy to fill. It started on the first pull after I filled it with gas. It is quiet for a generator as I watch a movie with the generator right outside of the camper, so nice compared to my old loud generator. The price can't be beat compared to the leading name brand generator. I highly recommend it.
My travel trailer has a 15,000 BTU air conditioner and I needed more than one small generator to start and run that unit. Two Westinghouse iGen2200 inverter generators will run in parallel and produce more than enough power to take care of the air conditioner as well as some other smaller loads on the camper. I have two of these iGen2200 generators now and have tested them running in parallel and they operate very well for my needs. And, as a bonus, they don't cost as much as some other brands.
Purchased this generator for remote elk and deer hunting trips here in Colorado. In addition, I wanted a good quality low noise unit for around the house in case of emergencies. After much research I purchased the IGen 2200 and could not be happier. Even quieter than I thought and runs perfectly. An outstanding choice considering its less than half the price of the other name brand products and works just as well.
