Won't shut off

This generator is brand new out-of-the-box and it started right up the first two issues I have is the shut off valve would not turn the motor off as it turns out it was not making contact with the microswitch inside and secondly the fuel valve knob was not secured it simply fell off the generator but other than that it ran fine
I would recommend this to a friend!

Started on first pull and real quite

Item performed as listed. Sump motor ran well with very little change in generator load. Unit was real quite. Unfortunately, on my first shutdown the unit would not turn off until I closed the gasoline vent cap. Customer service sending a new switch instead of returning one day old unit. The unit performed as hoped except for minor shutdown issue which I hope is easily fixed rather than returning.
