Nice and quiet and efficient

I have a champion 4500/3500. Works well but It's loud this westinghouse keeps up with camper fine I. It is now my go to for traveling abroad so glad I it wighs little and doesn't disturb the nieghbors

The packaging was great. I added oil and gas and it started right up. I ran a small fan for 5 hours to break it in. It was really quiet compared to what I hear coming from the neighbors during hurricane season. I feel ver confident that it will meet my needs when I need it next hurricane season.

First impression is spectacular!

Out of the box, it is ready to go as soon as you add the necessary oil and gas. It started right up and within minutes, I had power to the camper. I went through all the utilities and appliances and it never overloaded. I went through all the camping scenarios and it was still all good. I am very excited to have this as a backup or when we are in the remote areas with no hookups. So far, this is a great product!

Won’t run on propane

I bought the generator to run it on propane. Tried to start it for the first time and it started right up. However it only ran for 15 seconds and now won’t start again. I’ve started a ticket with Westinghouse and I will update this review if they can fix it so that it runs the way it’s supposed to propane.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
