Quiet steady power

Great little generator. It is pretty light and portable at 46 lbs and runs pretty quiet. The noise does rise some when its under heavy load but still way below a traditional generator. The advertised runtime is accurate. I got about 5 hours on a half gallon running under about 60% load. Nice stable power, everything I plugged in ran smoothly and as expected. It had no trouble running a fan large toaster oven and lights all at once. Should be able to add a small fridge on too, but haven't tried yet.

Great little portable generator

Great little portable generator
The 2200 was simple to set up - access to the oil fill was quick. I added a splash of gas and was running in less than 10 minutes from un-boxing. I use this for general use during camping with the travel trailer and for miscellaneous use when a little power is needed to run some lights, charge batteries, etc. I'll pair it with another 2200, or possibly the 2500, down the road. I'll need the parallelism to power the a/c unit in the camper. This unit is way better (quieter, lighter, solid) than my old yellow and black gunny, and it's just as good as the red ones. And, for some reason, the kids really get a kick out of charging their ipods with the 5V USB outlets.

Quiet and Powerful Generator

Overall this generator is very quite. It starts easily and has ample power to run essentials during emergencies. A nice touch was the added oil fill funnel that screws into the oil check pipe for no mess filling.
I would recommend this to a friend!
