Great directions! Followed them to the letter, started it up, and can barely hear it run. Save 100s of $$$ over the "name" brands. Compare, do your research, and you'll be happy.

Great, easy start up

I just bought this due to the constant power outages in Southern California. I was able to prepare the generator and get it started in no time. I’m so happy I made this purchase. This generator is giving me peace of mind and knowing that I can take you on a trip or use at home for outages and emergencies.

Quiet & Simple to Operate

I got this generator because I live in an area where the power gets turned off when there are wildfires, there are occasional brown outs, and you never know when a big earthquake is going to hit. The iGen2200 is simple to operate, maintain, transport, and store. It can be carried like a suitcase, since it has a handle on top. This unit is quiet and runs great. My kid started it on the first pull.

After adding the engine oil (included with the unit) and fuel she started on the second pull. It's quiet and lightweight which are a plus in my book.

Almost Perfect

Everything worked. Added oil, gas, performed safety checks, and once running, just works. My only complaint? The three position switch (off, run, choke) has little pictures that are pretty useless. After realizing coke I had and run reversed, I was able to start it right up. Always read the manual when you find a subtle change in labeling:)

Very quiet

I am happy with the purchase. It is VERY quiet when compared to other style generators. Its also comparatively light weight which is also nice. I had a power outage within 2 weeks of buying this unit and was able to power more than a few lights and the gas furnace/blower during frigid temps outside. The generator performed very well. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because the motor does not purr like a kitten when the engine is warm and the choke is all the way open. I actually have to turn the choke knob back a little to find the "sweet spot" where it runs smooth. I will adjust/fix this summer. I recommend this unit.
