Highly rated. Good instruction manual. Emphasizes SAFETY. Like the daisy chain capability. Running good and ramps up and down according to demand load.

New inverter generator

Having become concerned about possible power outages or shortages, I started to research for a small generator. I am still reading the owners manual to ensure I understand the operation and safety of this product. I just wanted to say that I am very happy with the size and the overall weight - being that I am in my mid 60's and it often might be just me lifting it in and out of my vehicle - I can handle this unit just fine.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Purchased for running a portable A/C

Purchased the iGen 2200 to run an 8,000 BTU portable A/C. Took it out of the box added oil (10w30 oil provided) and gas. It started after about four pulls (not unusual for a very first start); I noticed no great resistance as some small engines require. It provided all the power needed for the A/C.

I bought this in April for power outages and camping. I used it once so far and it started up on one pull. Hope that continues. Pleasantly quiet. Light weight

Perfect Backup Generator/Inverter

I had an older generator that was very heavy. It was also very noisy! As I've gotten older I had a hard time moving it when I needed it. I decided it was time to get rid of it. After doing some research I settled on the Westinghouse IGen2500. It's small and lightweight making it much easier to move around. And it's much more quiet than my old generator. It also consumes a lot less fuel. A couple of days ago we had a major power outage in our neighborhood when the main trunk serving it got fried. It took the electric company a day and a half to restore service. I used the generator for much of the time to supply power to my refrigerator, coffee maker, and my computers. It worked perfectly!
