Removed access plate with the included tools to access oil fil and inspected inside. Looks like a well-built generator. I read the directions to understand that it cannot get wet, so we have made arrangements to run it in a well-ventilated but protected space if the power goes out.
I like the list of technical specifications that include the spark plug part number and the quantity of fuel and oil. This makes it easy to maintain. I expect that this is exactly the product I am looking for to support my in-laws should they lose power.

I like the low idle under light load

Bought today and ran for an hour under 800 watt load, ran fine at moderate speed. Also tested my 7 inch hand saw, would power up from low idle with no hesitation. Good buy.

Really happy with this generator. Easy to start. Does the job. Love the portability. I wouldn't call it "super quiet", but can certainly live with the noise level.

I got this yesterday, added oil and gas, turned on, waited a minute or so(gas to carb), pulled once and it STARTED!!! Started a few more times yesterday and today-one pull-started. After reading the literature, I am disappointed that if we need warranty service, we have to get the unit to a warranty service location. Hopefully we won't need the service.

Lightweight and easy to start
