Has worked very well so far. It runs the 16,000 BTU A/C with softstart device on my boat.

This generator starts up with one pull. The noise it makes is less than the average lawn mower so the neighbors will be happy. I love the economy power feature. Very happy with this purchase.

After comparing the most popular 2000 watt generators, I decided on the Westinghouse igen2200. Price, reliability, and ease of use all factored into my choice. I am following the 5 hour breakin procedure and everything is functioning perfectly. Once I filled with the provided oil and added the non-ethanol gas, it cranked on the 3rd pull of the cord. I also have started while still warm, and cranks right up. I was also pleased with how well everything was packaged. There were no dents or blemishes when I received it via UPS.

Quiet, compact peace of mind

Like a lot of folks from my area (Texas Gulf Coast) you buy a generator and really hope to never have to use it. That being said, the iGen2200 is easy to set up, quiet to operate, and generates a decent power output at a good price point.
