I bought this about a month ago. It started on the first pull on Gas (it actually kind of surprised me) , it was a little more of a struggle on LP but it did start and ran fine. It seemed to be charging okay, haven't really used it much yet.
I purchased this generator because of the great reviews that were online. I did all the setup per directions, started it and it ran well. I then followed the steps and placed a load on it. Still worked, I was excited. THEN, I took the generator on a planned trip where it was going to be v v cold. I made sure to check the oil, gas and that there was nothing to block exhaust. I pulled the cord and it started, GREAT!! HOWEVER, the moment I put a load on it (small heater 200w) IT STOPPED!!! I am going to try again to see if I did something wrong and if I did, I will revise this review. IF NOT, I AM GOING TO MAKE SURE THAT OTHERS DON'T HAVE SAME ISSUE.

I bought this to power necessary appliances in the event of a blackout. This thing powers my fridge, lights, and microwave without any problems. Having propane and gas dual fuel capabilities is very convenient.
I bought this to run my 15,000 but AC in my RV. The generator is light weight and compact. It starts very easily. I like the controls and displayed info. No wheels, but is so light, who needs them. The sound level is on par with the expensive red model. Love it so far.
Brand new unit right out of the box, built 11/24. The box and unit looks clean and in good condition. Set it all up per the manual. The unit starts, adjust choke, engine sounds healthy, says it's providing power, then within a few seconds (no load) it shuts down. I have only tried running off of propane since that is the only way I intend to use it. Checked the air filter, oil level, the carb drain, the fuel and air connections all look solid, spark plug is fine just a bit under the .8mm gap. The propane regulator seems to be working as far as I can tell.
This model has thousands of good reviews online, so probably just a defect. Will be going through the warranty process.

I had to fidget with the carburetor the first few days. It would start run for 15 seconds and then shut down. I had loosen the screw for the overflow and gas was getting to the carburetor, but wasn’t flowing through. Had to tap on the carburetor with the butt of my screwdriver as I think the float was stuck. Since then it is performing good. The other thing was I did call the support line claim:SC340071 and have not heard anything back and that was seven days ago. Lady on the phone was nice, but zero follow up. The start was frustrating, but since than it works very well for running the Ice House.
