easy to set up started on third pull. ran the unit for 1 1/2 hrs under different loads responded well.

Still a little rough under load

I've been breaking in the generator and loading it at no more than 50% as specified in the manual. I'm in the first 1.5 hours of the 5 hour break in period. While idling it purrs, but under load it tends to surge. I'm hoping this will calm down after the break in period is done. I'm running brand new gas and have already changed the oil once to ensure any manufacturing junk is removed. I'm also running a little sea foam in the gas to clean out the fuel system, assuming that is the problem. If it continues to surge after 5 hours I'm likely to return it to the retailer. Giving 4 stars, as I'm still hopeful.

Perfect Small Back Up Generator

Perfect back up generator for our townhouse in Virginia. Outages are typical during storms due to trees contacting power lines. Need to be able to keep refrigerator running if needed and this iGen2200 will do the job.
