Have completed the break-in and all works well. This will power a 4' diameter fan without a problem and starts on 1 pull. It is a little louder at full load than expected but not excessive.
I would recommend this to a friend!

So quiet!

Ive been using this for music festivals, camping and outdoor trade shows and this unit provides all the power I need at a sound level that is totally tolerable. We camped in mid summer and had fans galore in the tent, still slept without issue.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Bonus Gift - My 2nd iGen Inverter Generator

I purchased my first iGen1200 in 2017 for use during hurricane Maria. There was a whole house generator but it needed trucks to refill the fuel tank. The 1200 was a backup. Fuel for the whole house unit lasted only a few days and bridges were out - it was weeks before power was restored. That little generator became a life line. Keeping the food cold, lighting at night, recharging phones and batteries, powering the computer modem and computers - keeping communications with others during critical times. It is still going strong. Now primary power with the whole house unit backing up only as needed. I have another house in Florida so I needed another "life line" and knew Westinghouse was what I needed. The size and features of this 2550 are even better! Quite, easy to carry, easy to start, power when and where you need it, runs over 8 - 10 hours under normal load on a gallon of gas.

Lots of features not included on other brands

I did the break in procedure with no issues. Lots of features that are not included on other brands at the same price point, like fuel level, and run time remaining. Seems to make good stable power. Lightweight, easy to pack around, and very quiet at low power output, but it does get louder if you load it up.
I would recommend this to a friend!
