so as of taking this out of its packaging it looks like a great little system. It is very quiet and i dont hear it really unlike some of the other systems i have had
I would recommend this to a friend!

Totally new to inverter generators...needed a generator to power our home oil furnace in case of a long power outage...after a long time taking to research what to buy...the Westinghouse iGen2550C was our number 1 choice. As we write this review, and having used only a few times the unit our first impression is an Aplus (satisfied)...the unit is
lightweight 40Lbs, easy to operate, one pull gets it started and is extremely quiet.
No regrets at all.

We bought this generator for our small camper so that we could Boondock. We’ve used it a couple of times and it works great. We were also able to purchase this generator at about half the cost of some of the other comparable size generators.

Generator for mom

My husband bought one of these for us, and I bought this generator to power my mother's furnace and sump pump. She has had some power outages recently at her house and I worry about her when the weather is cold. This unit starts very easily and it's light enough for me to lift and carry to wherever I need it. I like the fact that if we need to power additional loads, we can parallel the two units and deliver more power. We verified that the parallel hookup works well and splits the load automatically.
