Bought for my mother's house

We have experienced a few power outages that lasted a while. While we have a whole-house generator, I was worried about my mother, who lives nearby. My husband was buying one of these units for emergencies and I decided to purchase another one just like it. My husband rewired my mom's furnace electrical connection to make it a plug in connection so in the event of a power failure we can just unplug the furnace from the house power and power it from an extension cord from this generator.
The generator runs well and starts easily, and we have tested it on several loads and are very pleased with its performance.

Got this to run a pellet stove when power is out. Learned quickly that I could also run the house computer and network at the same time. No longer worried about staying warm and in touch when the weather gets bad.
