Parts hard to get. Maintenance information lacki.

Remove the “spark arrester” (back-end governor) and throw away. Screen inside exhaust pipe needs to be removed and cleaned regularly so you can blow out all the backed-up carbon it’s not supposed to be emitting.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello, thank you for your review. The spark arrestor is a safety device that prevents sparks from exiting the muffler and creating a fire hazard. In certain locations a spark arrestor may be required by law. It is the operator’s responsibility to know and follow all local laws and regulations related to fire prevention requirements. We do recommend cleaning the spark arrestor regularly. However, we do not recommend removing and not reinstalling the spark arrestor. This is just the perfect size for tasks around my 20A If you want to work at nite you can with power provided by IGEN2550 . The information panel is very helpful. Thanks.

Exactly what I expected.

I ordered this for use with my travel trailer. When it arrived, all I had to do was put in oil and fuel (I hooked up a propane tank, which will be my main fuel choice) and it fired right up. I sounded a bit rough until I placed a load on it, and it smoothed right out.

Worked Right Out The Box

Ugly storms came rolling in; lost power. Received a notice the power would not be restored for 6-8 hour time span. Sump pit was filling and starting to fill the perimeter tile. Ran to Menards, picked up, placed in operation, kept a dry finished basement.
I would recommend this to a friend!
