first start up and wow it started on the second pull, was totally suprised how quiet it ran. oh it was off eco mode, flipped the switch on and it just purred, love it. toggled a 600 then 1200 watt load and it ran beautifully. the machine ran so smooth and vibration free. I am 100% delighted with this Westinghouse Inverter generator.
I already had a larger Westinghouse invertor unit for my RV, but it was heavy and hard to load myself. I wanted a smaller one that could still run a lot of things but was lighter. This worked out well.
Running 100% on propane. Easily started for break-in. 2 pull start after proper break-in time. Just the right amount of features for the price point and usage. Would recommend next gen have an output meter of some sort, nothing fancy just to know when I'm approaching capacity.
I have had a iGen2500 for a few years and it continues to perform. I have owned iGen2200s in the past and they've been good with 1 having carb issues. I find now that without the data center that comes on most gens this iGen2200 is behind the times as far as features. But the price was right and it's just a pair for my 2500 for when I need extra output.
This is the first generator that I have owned. I bought it shortly after a tornado came through our town, and my house was without power for a few days, with no prediction of when it get back on. I was able to run my refrigerator and chest freezer off of this, as well as keep my family's devices charged with little fuss. So far, this as been easy to maintain, and easy to start up.
