Bought for use with power outages. Live in an townhouse complex, so need to keep noise down while keeping frig and small freezer powered. Real quiet when running for initial startup.

Great generator for my smaller travel trailer

This unit had all the features I was looking for in an inveverter generator to run A/C and keep batteries charges when shore power was not available.

We bought this due to yet another tornado induced power outage. We can not believe how many things we were able to power with this little thing. It’s not heavy, awkward or oversized. It runs over 9 hours on 1 gallon of gas! WHAT??? It’s small but mighty!!! I HIGHLY recommend this generator.

quality light weight generator

I purchased this generator one month ago as a light duty , light weight emergency home backup power source. I previously purchased a Westinghouse i Gen 5000DF which appeared to be a good quality unit and I wanted the lighter unit which could be paired easily with the larger unit. It was shipped well protected with complete instructions Thus far , my primary complaint is with the included propane regulator/hose . I attempted multiple times to start the generator and even switched propane tanks several times without success. However, when I used the regulator which was provided with my larger i Gen5000DF unit, I was able to start the iGen2550DF several times even while using the same propane cylinders. I have read similar complaints from others regarding the regulator on this model. Multiple pulls are needed to start this unit.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought this a month ago and so happy that I did! Love the dual fuel option! I took it camping and used propane LP gas and it powered the camper including a small heater or the AC and ran all night long with no problems!
I would recommend this to a friend!

When you register this item it makes you provide a review to get a bonus item (cover). So this is what I can say after taking them out of the box today. They came in good shape, we did the pre test and they seem to work well. I will come back and up date the review after we use them on our first camping trip.
