This iGen2550 came nicely packaged, Followed the easy to read manual, started on 2nd pull, nice design & easy to handle, quiet and smooth, love the lighted LED panel .I'll mount it on the back of my golf cart/workhorse to run a electric chain saw & pole saw on the estate trees and bushes .I hope to get many years of service. I got 30 yrs or service out of my Coleman Powermate 1000 before the governor went south last week. Time will tell.

I have an RV with solar and 400 Ah lithium batteries. I needed a generator to help the solar panels on cloudy days or days that I used a lot of amps. I did a lot of research and I found this generator and yes, I read the negative reviews first.
I am running it on propane only since I will not be using it a lot and wanted to avoid carburetor issues (varnishing and old gas). Once I primed the hose, the generator fired right up. It is quiet and does get a little louder with a load. I can run it during the charge the battery bank for night use.

Great for off-grid trailer camping

Bought this so we could trailer camp more than 5 days without power. It was very easy to set up and get going with excellent instruction manual. Wanted a propane fuel feature so we didn’t need to transport gasoline and this is perfect. It’s a little noisy, but able to recharge our trailer batteries.

The generator arrived yesterday. Filling with oil was easy. It started right up on propane. I ran it for a few minutes under load. I'm quite satisfied with my purchase.

Love the dual options!

We're preparing for hurricane season and decided on this generator. This was a nice choice because it is easy to store due to it's size/weight and it has the option of using either gasoline or propane. We really want to use propane and the price was reasonable!
