The dual fuel generator works well. Used with the propane and the power was great. Noise level is good.

I purchased this 3 days ago after much research and my budget considerations. I purchased it for emergency situations only as a "just in case". After testing with some lights and power tools, I am confident it will operate exactly as expected for what I need.

I bought this generator in preparation for a deluge. Fortunately I didn't need it, but it worked well when I was testing it. I've been wanting to get a generator for quite a while, and I'm happy with the choice I made.

I was looking to replace my Honda 2000 generator that I gave to my daughter. After doing extensive research I settled on the Westinghouse iGen2550 dual fuel unit. It arrived in great condition the packaging was very substantial and it contained everything you need to get the unit running. Oil, tool kit, oil filler funnel, propane regulator and hose. there was one review I looked at that claimed in order to start the unit on propane they had to start it first with gas so I was eager to get it running and see if that was the case.I filled it with the supplied oil, the side panels remove easily, filled it with 92 octane gas and it started on the second pull. it ran great and I switched on the econo mode and it idled down to a slower speed. I plugged in my portable band saw and it powered it with no problem. I purchased the unit to run my a/c on my camper a 5Amp unit, it runs great powering the a/c. I connected the unit to propane, filled the instruction pushed the regulator relief valve 3 times, it started on the 4th pull,I don't think I choked it sufficiently initially. It runs great on propane. I'm very pleased I chose the dual fuel generator I think it will be very advantageous to be able to run on either gasoline or propane. the price point for this generator is just right for a generator that will be used mainly for dry camping.. The noise level is awesome also, At 50' from the unit it is hardly noticeable. I would recommend this generator, it seems well built and has many amenities, led lights illuminate the panel at night, 30amp plug, usb ports and the price is very reasonable. I would definitely recommend this unit.

Westinghouse Inverter Generator

I purchased primarily to power my 27' camper during remote camping trips but also plan to use it for tailgating and emergency power needs when necessary. The set-up was extremely easy with pouring in the pre-measured oil using the provided screw in funnel, and filling with gas. The funnel threads into the hole where the dipstick is and it kept everything clean and spill free. Started on the second pull after getting gas through the carburetor and it is quieter than I expected. I know I probably should have purchased a larger model but I don't plan on pushing its limits. The 30 amp RV outlet will also allow me to plug in without the use of an adapter. Very happy with the purchase.

Reliable and quiet Invernter

I received this Inverter as a gift from my son to use while camping in the Wyoming mountains to operate my CPAP machine. Very quiet and lasts about 9 hours with minimum load. Portable, light and very quiet.
