I live in FL, hurricane country. This is the perfect size invertor generator for my needs during hurricane season. It is compact, light weight but perfect to provide the power I need for my refrigerator, TV, internet and a fan during power outage.
I 'm very pleased with my Westinghouse inverter generator & in purchasing a generator I wanted to make sure I went with a very trusted and quality company & having owned many Westinghouse appliances it was an easy choice to buy a Westinghouse generator!!
I bought this as it seems any time the wind blows, our power goes out. As I'm now considered middle-aged, I've got the sleep equipment to prove it. Can't sleep without my CPAP. I don't want to worry about a battery backup. Now I can run my machine and a fan...I can hook up the refrigerator if needed, and can get through the night...or nights.
I bought this generator in case of power outages we are full time rving. My wife works virtual and when I started this generator she could not here it run, which is exactly what I was looking for
Instructions for setup were simple, information panel works well and takes the guesswork out of runtime, capacity, fuel level, and total hours of operation. So far very pleased with the simplicity of the product, and hopeful that it will stand the test of time.
I have 2 iGen2550DFc with 50 amp parallel cable and it runs my camper like 30 amp shore power. I can run my 15,000 btu AC with the generators on propane.
Westinghouse seems well built. I recommend them.
You wouldn’t really have to buy the 50 amp parallel cable for 50 amp camper because the combined generators only make 3800 watts (31.7 amps). You probably already have a 30 amp adapter and you can plug it straight into either of the generators. You then connect the included small parallel cables between the generators.
