We were very pleased with the initial set-up and easy start. Compact and has a manageable weight for lifting in and out of our pick-up.

Light and quiet

I purchased the IGen2550 in October of 2024. I have used it about 5 hours so far. It’s quiet and light and affordable. My family and I do a lot of camping and college tailgating. I have a bigger champion generator that we take camping if we are going to use the A/C. I just wanted the 2550 more for light duty camping and tailgating. To be able to leave it running most of the day so our trailer can run some tvs and stereo while only using a couple of gallons is appealing. While having it plugged into my trailer it works pretty good. I am only giving it 4 stars as it has just stopped running about 5/6 times for no reason. Fuel and gas are both in check.

Lightweight and Powerful Generator

Bought this as insurance for if my power goes out again from a future hurricane or winter ice storm to make sure my basic needs are met like running refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, sump pump, a few lights, tv and internet, and charging of laptop and phones until power is restored. Bonus is that unit is so portable I can take it with me if going out into a non-powered campsite etc.

This generator was easy to set up, run and store. This generator will be a godsend when or power goes off. Easy enough to attach to a refrigerator, freezer, even an electric stove as needed.
