After spending a fair amount of time researching 12000 watt generators I decided to buy this Westinghouse WGen12000, and I could not be happier. The product was delivered nicely packaged and contained everything needed to get it started and running. Directions were simple to follow, and after adding the gas it started right up with the included remote control. Love the power, all the features and the quality!

Solid Generator

Arrived this week and powered it up for the first time today. Easy to set up and started up on the first try. The remote on/off works perfectly. Nice that Westinghouse includes the first bottle of oil. The wheel pins appear to be different from what they show in the instructional part of the user manual, but the parts diagram shows the ones actually included. Be sure to have some help when removing the machine from the pallet. Very pleased with this purchase.

I just received this today. I was able to unbox and set it up in about 45 minutes, could have gone a little faster as it was an easy assembly. Did put the battery in first from a previous review I read and that did help in my opinion before putting the wheels on. Now here is where I am VERY happy. Started right up, and once it throttled down, very easy on the ears! Good looking powerful unit, after that last storm where my other brand didn't live up to the challenge, I am confident this will. One of the KEY features that made me go with this was the less than 5% THD. Last power outage I had some serious issues with some of the electronics that run our 400 gallon Salt water reef tank. Between that and the AMPS it puts out and all my research this was one on the biggest I could find with staying portable.

Let the hurricanes come!

Just received my generator a week ago and couldn't be happier. Took about an hour to set it up and started in about 3 seconds. It runs a good part of my home with no problem. Now we can tolerate the power outages.
