Bought Westinghouse GEN. from Family Farm and Home.
Owned a little over a year and it will not start (electric nor pull).
Westinghouse is the Ford of small engines - DON’T TRUST THEM.
GENs are easy to repair - fuel, fire and air, especially at a year old, but who has time for these games so early on? Not this guy, regardless of their warranty.
If it malfunctions this quickly it’s not considerable. No excuses. It means the design engineer doesn’t care, thus the company doesn’t care. Poor Q/C and design. Shenanigans.
Will have repaired and sell if anyone will buy it. We wonder why no foreigners want to sell or buy American made products made recently.

Impressive

This is my first generator and so far I am impressed. Once the electrician completed the work in my home electrical panels to use the generator as a backup power source, we tried it out. It started up immediately after connecting it to a propane tank and powered our home. No issues. I’m pleased with my purchase and with the price.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought the generator on May 1, 2025, have not use it yet. I was told by friends that bought the same one that they are good. Can't wait to see how it performs.

Used for a three day power outage in a large all electric house. Generator kept shutting down the first night, so I changed the oil guessing that may be the problem. After that, performed flawlessly. Very heavy unit, but was able to unpack and set up alone using ramps to get it off the packaging base.
