Great features and value

I just took delivery of my WGen12000 generator today (7/31/20) and unpacked and assembled. Good instructions for straight forward unpacking and assembly. Great user manual/diagrams. User friendly layout of instrumentation panel.
I am a little concerned about the robustness of the oil dipstick. I found inserting fully after checking oil level a challenge and not sure how long the plastic around the dip stick and the wire rod is going to holdup. I plan to order an extra dipstick immediately. for backup, otherwise I believe the WGen12000 to be 5 star! I have not
started/powered yet. I will update this posting following placing the generator into service.

The only 12kw DF portable with less than 5% THD

Passed all tests and ready to install. I like the "smart" feature of dropping to idle with the electrical load comes off. I also like the oil cooler and oil filter location. Solid and well thought-out design. So features and construction rate 5 stars. If it lasts as long as the 5kw it replaces (20 years), I'd give it 10 stars.

I wanted to have one big enough to run a central AC and this foots the bill. The dual fuel will allow me to have storage options for post hurricane episodes that are safer than gasoline only. Remote start will be especially good when I have a larger propane tank.

Assembly was straightforward and the instructions manual was well laid out. Packing was excellent. One of the features that I liked about the 12000DF compared to lower models was the <5% THD which allows you to run sensitive electronic equipment together with the remote start. This model will also allow me to run my A/C in the event of a power outage. Even though this unit is heavy at 352 lbs, the wheelbarrow style handles allow me to move the unit around with ease.

Arrived earlier than expected and well packaged. Started right up on propane. Haven't had any power outages to use it yet.
