Impressive Generator

We bought this unit to power an electrical panel in an out building that has some heavy duty needs. It is a powerful unit, particularly for the price. As an aside, it is quieter than I thought it would be.

Power outage peace of mind

I bought this generator after a recent widespread 3-day power outage. We have 2 freezers and scrambled to find someone who could help us store all the frozen food. An electrician highly recommended this unit and did the installation for us. We like the units many features such as remote start, quiet operation and versatility of the tri fuel system as well as its ability to handle most of our needs.

Bought this and have it set up and it will run the entire house which includes two A/C units. Hope I get through this hurricane season and never have to use it.

I am new to generators

Purchased June 3rd, 2025. Just now got around to hooking it up. Pre start check list was a little difficult. It was hard to access the battery terminals to hook up the battery cable. Also hard to add oil. I had to get a very long funnel and wasn't sure how much oil to put in. So I had to add a little and then check the dipstick multiple times. The dipstick is also difficult to access and re-insert. After pre-start check list, the generator started right up. However, when I connected it to my house electrical panel, the electricity did not come on. This may be an issue with the electrician who installed the service plug for my electric panel. I will be having him come out to check it out. If it turns out it was his mistake, I will rate this at a 3.5. If it's an issue with the generator, then obviously my rating will go down.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
