Appears to be well built with nice features

The generator appears to be well built. It is supposed to power my whole house including a 4 ton central air conditioning unit. I am looking forward to using it the next time we lose power from a hurricane or nor'easter.

Will Upgrade Rating If Issue Is Resolved

First, I was unaware that this generator was made in China until I received it. It was designed in the USA. Second, out of the box it had several relatively minor paint imperfections on the frame where it was worn off from rubbing against something. Finally, there is an oil leak that appears to be coming from the oil fill plug. I can live with the other issues, but I need to have something done about the oil leak. Other than those things, the setup was easy. It started immediately and ran like a champ. It's not as noisy as I expected, but we'll see what the neighbors have to say about that after the first all-night run - it won't bother me.

HAVE NOT HAD A POWER OUTAGE YET,BUT THE GENERATOR STARTS AND RUNS AS ADVERTISED AND EASILY SWITCHES OVER FROM GAS TO PROPANE!

Large and powerful

Set up was very easy, nothing was damaged and all parts were included. You have to fill oil, which was provided. the first time starting was with gas and it started with no issues. I used propane and the engine sounded a little strange, there may be some setting that need to be adjusted or the regulator may need to be broken in. The unit is large but is easy to move with 5 gal of gas in the tank. I gave it 4 stars because of the sound it made with propane.

Great purchase

My generator was just delivered and it is sweet. It has a remote start, which is fantastic for my wife, who would not be able to pull start a generator. I can now feel comfortable that when I have to be at work during a hurricane, that I know the power situation is a non-factor.

Great Product with everything included

Bought this as an electrical replacement for when the power goes out. It was delivered professionally in 4 days from purchase. The 15/12 generator was packaged appropriately, and started on the first push of the button starter. This generator is actually 20db quieter than my 7500 generator...LOL!

Solid Build

Sturdy frame. Noise level same as my old 5500 watt generator. Purchased about a month ago and needed after storm the first week. Old generator was not able to run one of my refrigerators. Westinghouse ran both refrigerators, two freezers, 16000 BTU of A/C's and all lights, computers and TV's, coffee pot and microwave oven without worrying about load balancing. I'm certain it could easily handle more.

Waiting for hurricane to really try this bad boy.
Love the remote start and seems to be much quieter than previous generators I've owned.
Nice to know it has the no flat tires too and everything seems first class
