Powered whole house without being too noisy

Just hooked up generator to the house everything ran 1 big fridge freezer, deep freezer regular fridge freezer and mini fridge air conditioner and pool motor with lights all worked no issues and surprisingly quiet for the motor size and power ran on gas but have not tried propane yet. Feel much better about going without power now.

Great Generator

Great generator I used it for power tools.Waiting for transfer switch and other electrical parts to bring house up to national electric code and then I'll try it for whole house power.It works great.

Did my research on DF generators. Westinghouse came in first. Besides its name an reputation i choose the 12000DF to power the whole house using remote as a very handy option. looking forward to purchasing the auto transfer switch for ice box .

Good So Far!

Just purchased for a whole home backup using transfer switch. So far so good. Battery and 50 amp kind of blocked by tire but not a deal breaker. Just have to do a little extra to access these items.

Great Generator

We cranked it up when it arrived last summer( We live in SW Florida) and didn't need it (thank God) for hurricane season last year. Storm warning came in last night, so we cranked it up and after 3 attempts on the electric starter, she fired up! Let her run for an hour and she ran fine. We DID a test to our transfer switch / plate and ran the whole house for a few minutes and barely a drop in power. Our home is 2200 under air :)

Yes, I'm one of those that bought a generator AFTER the Texas freeze of Feb 2021. I'd planned to anyway but the ERCOT issues forced my hand earlier than anticipated. It has all the features I need to run my whole house. Hired a local electrician to install an inlet box on the house and a 50amp interlock in my panel. The genny started right up in my two tests and it's just an overall solid, well-built machine. Westinghouse seemingly thought of everything.

Assembled it Today

Live in Texas, waited over a month for it to restock, ordered it on a Saturday showed up the following Thursday. Needed something to keep us powered during hurricane season and now apparently winter. Initial impression? Sturdy construction, easy assembly well built, clean, compact and looks great. Haven’t used it yet but it I’m waiting on my electrician to set up our interlock and 50 amp inlet. Once we get it on line I’ll update my review.

Alot of features

I just bought this a week ago so I'll have to do an updated review later on. When I got it i will say they did packaged it very well. I love that I have the option to turn on or off the low idle on this machine. The key FOB is a huge plus. The only thing I did wish this had was a backup recoil starter just incase the battery did end up not working. But other than that I like it.
