Nice!!!

Packing was excellent, gen had no damage and was easily assembled in no time. Gen is 350lbs so l had my neighbor help me get it off the pallet. Hooked up a propane tank and it started on the first try. Haven’t put a load on it yet waiting for my electrician to hook up interlock switch. Will update if needed, so far very pleased with purchase.

Easy setup, great generator

Just had this delivered and the setup was easy. Only a few steps and the instructions were easy to follow. Fired it up and after warming up 30 seconds or so it idled down to a quiet purr until I added a load. The panel is laid out well so that everything is easy to find.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Solid generator

Seems to be a solid strong generator. Happy that it has a switch that allows me to turn off the Smart Idle. Smart Idle switch is not mentioned or pictured in product info. Product info does not cover info on oil filter service intervals, also the manual does not mention that the battery should be turned around from a shipping position to make it easier to connect the cables. Besides that the manual and product information needs to be updated, I think I will enjoy this generator very much

The 30 amp circuit breaker switch is broken

I just bought this. It was very well packed. Setup was easy and uncomplicated. Added oil & fuel and it started right up. I tested all of the outlets. They all operated except the 120/240V AC 30 amp outlet. The 30 amp circuit breaker switch immediately above it is broken. I will contact Customer Service to see about repairing it.

Plenty of power

This unit replaced a smaller 7500W Westinghouse generator which was gas only. Convenience of having dual fuel and low THD (cleaner power over the last unit) was the selling point. The additional power capability over the last unit. The only drawbacks are this unit is slightly louder than the 7500W and twice the weight. The WGEN12000DF has the “Smart Idle” feature the can be turned on/off via a switch on the control panel. Tested this out at no load condition, and it significantly reduces the engine RPM, in turn reducing the noise. The documentation and online photos have no mention of this added feature, which I would assume might be a newer feature for the 2021+ models.
