So far so good

Just purchased and have started for the first time. Runs great on gasoline but will not stay running on propane. I am sure it is something simple but will update once I figure it out

Husband loves it

Since we were caught in the 'snowmageadon' of 2020 last year here in Texas, we wanted to be sure that we were prepared for any power emergency. Having research many other products, we settled on the WGen 12000. Once received, my husband easily put it together, and it was much lighter than we expected. He himself was able to lift if off of the crate. Now, having said that he is a physically fit male... He did what the instructions said, and it started up without a hitch! I strongly advise that an electrician is consulted. We put in a power 'switch" and are having him come back to make sure that generator is properly hooked up and we can properly and easily switch the power from our home to the generator.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Impressive.

Pros:Dual fuel (Gasoline/Propane),easy start, auto choke, comes with an oil drain hose already attached, battery was 100% charged on arrival, self charging battery, remote foible works very well, attached wheels makes it easy to move round, grounding port available, manual comes with good instructions on maintenance, has a gasoline gauge to monitor the gasoline level, more fuel efficient compared to other brands of similar wattage, comes with accessories for attaching the wheels, battery and the spark plug, comes with a propane hose and oil funnel.
Cons:Loud (92dB at the generator and 71dB at 20 feet), very difficult to get the generator out of the packing cart (was a challenge, needed two persons to get off the cart even with wheels attached), battery nuts and oil dip stick were ridiculously tight to loosen.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Solid Generator

This generator is a beast. Built solid and is heavy like a tank. It took a bit to get it out of the shipping box, but definitely manageable. Definitely the “What if” anxiety is gone and looking for the chance to put this generator into action.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Should be Zero Stars but I can't

I bought this beast to run my commercial floor grinding and epoxy business. The first 4 months it ran well. After that it would start up and whenever I put a load on the generator it would cut off. It's a pain to keep restarting the generator every 10 to 15 minutes because it keeps cutting off.
Thank you Westinghouse for making my life harder than it really is. I can run 2 generac generators nonstop with no issues.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Will Upgrade Rating If Issue Is Resolved

First, I was unaware that this generator was made in China until I received it. It was designed in the USA. Second, out of the box it had several relatively minor paint imperfections on the frame where it was worn off from rubbing against something. Finally, there is an oil leak that appears to be coming from the oil fill plug. I can live with the other issues, but I need to have something done about the oil leak. Other than those things, the setup was easy. It started immediately and ran like a champ. It's not as noisy as I expected, but we'll see what the neighbors have to say about that after the first all-night run - it won't bother me.
