So, I set up Gen. Missing bolt for battery. Found a bolt and installed. Filled with oil and started without load. Looked around a saw gas shooting out near propane hookup and cooling fan was sucking it in and spraying all over Gen. Shut down and traced back under air filter. Removed lower housing for air filter and found one of the bolts loose too. The fuel shut off pushed out of the housing also when we tried to troubleshoot and lost more gas. Found one of the fuel lines cracked at clamp. I replaced the line. Running ok.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have never used a westinghouse product before, but my son-in-law has and he informed me how good your products are, so I decided to get one. I haven't had a chance to use it much, but so far I like it fine.

Fires Right Up!

Purchased the WGen Dual Fuel 12KW/9.5KW generator on Tuesday and it was delivered free the following Monday. Assembly was easy even for a 60 y/o woman despite this 200+ lb beast. Filled oil. Hooked up propane regulator. Connected battery, turned on & started it up. One press of the start button & it automatically tried to start 3 times before firing up. Powered the main breaker & tested all the 120V outlets...all drawing power. Tesyed the remote key fob several times & she shuts off & restarts like a champ.. Will have an electrician install a transfer switch & interlock before it gets cold so I can have peace of mind this cold dark winter.

Ran it 5 hours powering my house to break it in. Ran it on gas but mostly ran it on propane. Ran great on both. Hope to never have to use it but I'm ready.

i JUST RECEIVED AND UNCRATED THE wGEN 12000DF AND i MUST SAY THE DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION LOOK GREAT! CAN'T WAIT TO START IT UP. THE STARTUP PROCEDURE IS VERY EASY TO FOLLOW!
