Buyer beware

Purchased generator in October they dropped in my driveway within a half hour from receiving I tried to start and starter was grinding against the flywheel I called Westinghouse no one answered phone so I left a message. Next day I received a email telling me a starter was on the way I asked who was installing they sent me a list of service places to bring it to mind you it’s 410lbs. I received the starter and replaced it my self and it was doing the same thing so I called Amex they got Westinghouse to replace the unit. The new unit they sent me is doing the exact same thing now I’m told it’s a warranty issue and they won’t take it back. I received it opened box and tried to start within a half an hour of receiving I didn’t have it for six months or a year. It never worked so how is it my problem if Westinghouse is selling defective generators.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Set up and Running in 15 minutes

Very easy to set up. Was up and running in just 15 minutes with propane and not as loud as I expected.

Nice looking, heavy duty generator

I like everything about the generator so far besides the oil dip stick. Very little to no instructions on how deep exactly to put the dip stick to check oil level. Nice looking and seems heavy duty and well built. I'm excited for the electric/remote start and I like how all of the plugs have nice rubber covers.

After taking delivery the setup and test were easy. The option to run on propane is great - clean power and no mess. Highly recommended.

BEST value on the market!

Love this generator and the remote start. We rely heavily on a generator in the stormy winter months on an island in the PNW. Having dual fuel capability is really awesome, and the last storm knocked out the gasoline pumps but it didnt effect us as when we ran out of gasoline, all I had to do was swap over the the barbeque propane tanks to gfet us through until power was restored!

Well packaged for shipment

Received this generator by way of the dealer. The product was well packaged and secured. The container showed no signs of any damage to the carton or generator. Have not had a chance to start it yet but look forward to it in the next week or two. Plan on using the propane feature.
