We live on a hill and wind is terrible. Kind of excited for the next power outage to test this under real circumstances. I didn't need to run everything at once but tried a real life power outage scenario at ran my house way better than expected!

Excellent user manual/delivery

Just got it yesterday, fired it up today .. started immediately… have not ran a load yet. But will, after the break-in period… unfortunately I have to run it for at lease 5 hours before I can put a substantial load on it.. but will have that done in a few days.. no problem

Solid, well built generator

I just received this. Attached the battery, assembled the wheels and lift bar. Added the supplied oil and put some gas in the tank, with only the most brief hesitation the generator started right up. After reading many reviews that commented on the awkward placement of the oil drain I was pleased to see that Westinghouse seem to read the reviews on their products and have added a drain hose (I'll try to attach a photo). Though the machine is heavy the large wheels and hefty lift handles make it like moving a medium filled wheelbarrow, I had no problems pushing it up the ramp to my shed or across my soft lawn including a slight grade (note that I'm an out of shape senior). Overall my initial impressions are very positive.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We bought the WGen 12000DF to replace an older generator we had. It works amazing It does everything I can through at it. The packaging was fantastic It didn't have a scratch on. On top of all the features this generator has, having a remote to start and stop it makes it worth every penny.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Just what I needed

I bought after the fabled Texas Winter of 2021. Of course ERCOT was so embarrassed that they mandated improvements so that we have had only a few outages since and mostly less than an hour. I have not run it enough to perform normal maintenance. However, I can comment on a couple of recommended improvements. The oil dipstick fits too tightly into the access hole. The wire handle so small that it is difficult to insert due to bending, and to extract, because it is so tight.
Also to prevent gasoline w/ ethanol from crystallizing in the carburetor or the fuel lines, the gas must be drained. This is difficult because the hose from the tank to the valve is behind the valve switch plate. I can remove the hose from the valve but it is not long enough to reach to a drain bucket.
Same problem with adding oil. The cap is recessed so that I had to buy a funnel with long spout to get oil in.
Just some inconveniences. All in all, a great product
