I purchased this to provide emergency power for my home during outages. The hurricanes have been getting more regular in Florida. Have only test run the unit so far with both light and heavy loads. The intent is to power the refrigerator, a couple lights, and fan. Will know more when it has to run near continuously for a couple of days.

Excellent price for this generator! Half the price of Honda, which I had before this one. It was shipped propmtly, arrived in great shape and started right up after I put the gas and oil in it. We just bought it to keep our two refrigerators going during power outages. So far, thankfully, nothing have gone wrong.

I purchased this to replace an older generator for emergency back up. Starts easily and is very intuitive to use. Much nicer than the old generator. I also have the 1800 watt version of this and have been very happy with it too.

Seems to be a good product for the dollar. Would really have preferred the generator cover vs the power strip. Serial number is not easily identified, looks more like a bar code?

Quiet and powerful

Received the iGen2500 about a week ago. Setup instructions were clear and simple and took about 5 minutes. Started up first pull. Very quiet, particularly in the Efficiency Mode which drops the idle down to deliver only the power that is needed. I learned quickly that to power high demand equipment, like a compressor, it is best to take it out of Efficiency mode to start it, which makes sense as the surge current takes a few seconds for the generator to ramp up to speed. Otherwise, all my tests of power delivery, volume, etc. are great! Time will tell on longevity.

Did extensive research on small portable generators. The iGen 2500 stood out as a very reliable model which should take care of my needs during a power outage. The generator appears to be well built, compact and light weight. The unit started on the second pull and is everything I expected. I look forward to using it the next time we loose power.
