Westinghouse iGen 2500 Generator

Very happy with my iGen2500. I choose it over its competitors because of its great features including a 2500/2200-watt performance rating, the LED data center, two covered 120V outlets, a 10hr run time, and a 52 dBA noise rating.

Great Value - Not Robust

Purchased Generator 9 Months ago and used a few times with no problems. Ran well and used minimal fuel for the power provided. Stored unit in climate controlled area and waited for the inevitable power outage. The remnants of Hurricane Ian came to town and power was out for 18 hours. I was unable to get generator to run consistently. Problem appears to be within the carburetor and possibly due to poor storage (I did not drain the carburetor bowl as suggested for storage between 2 to 6 months). I used stabilized non-ethanol gas and carburetor clogged after 3 months? this is not a robust design.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this inverter generator about a year ago. I live in texas and it has come in handy. What I really like about it is that it start quickly in about 2 cranks even when it has been sitting in storage for months and it's easy to use.

Great Features

I bought this for emergency use, primarily in case a hurricane rolls through my part of Florida, but also plan on using it for camping trips. I bought two and plan on using them together to power the camper and other uses. The generator starts easily and is quiet. The features are great and I'm pleased with the purchase.

Perfect for Football Tailgates

Exactly what I wanted. Easy to pack for tailgate. I’ve run two TVs and crock pots with no problem. Easy to start and runs super quiet. Already changed the oil.

I bought this a while ago finally had to use it for six days during hurricane Ian. Worked great to keep my refrigerator running phones charged a small fan and a lamp. Would unplug the refrigerator and was able to use the coffee pot
