We took the iGen 2500 on its first camping trip and it performed great. Our 1 year batteries were not holding a charge so the iGen got a workout. It started with 1 or 2 pulls everytime. It was "surgie" at first, but stopped after we used the microwave.

Very nice little unit. Powers up a four circuit transfer switch. All the essentials light, tv, fridge and furnace. Piece of mind seeing how loosing power for several days twice a year is the new normal in new england.

AFTER MUCH RESEARCH AND MANY REVIEWS, I CHOOSE THE WESTINGHOUSE IGEN2500 AND IT IS BETTER THAN EXPECTED. THE UNIT IS STURDY AND SEEMS TO BE WELL BUILT. IT STARTS EASILY AND IS QUIET ENOUGH TO HAVE A NORMAL CONVERSATION NEXT TO IT. I HAVE USED OTHER GENERATORS THAT WERE SO LOUD YOU HAD TO GO TO THE OTHER SIDE OF THE YARD TO TALK. IT IS RELATIVELY LIGHT WEIGHT AND EASY TO MOVE. IT IS ALSO POWERFUL ENOUGH TO RUN THE NECESSARY APPLIANCES DURING A POWER OUTAGE.

This generator meets and existed my requirements i was blown away by the power of this inverter generator and the fuel consumption is amazing, i got over 11 hours out of 1 gallon of fuel, my next step is a second unit and a parallel cables
