Great Price, Works Well

I recently bought an iGen 2800. I'm in the middle of the break in period and so far so good.I'm not real happy that the cover needs to be removed to check the oil level. I'm hoping the screws holding the cover don't eventually strip out. Minor annoyance for an otherwise great product.

Portability and CO2 sensor

Happy I purchased the iGen2800c. I like the portability and the fact that I can move it about. With hurricane season upon us, I will use this generator to keep my freezer and refrigerator running along with a fan or two. I do like that there 2 phone charger ports as well.

Impressive Specs

I did my research and am impressed with the specs on this one. Dual fuel and potential for making the fuel last longer due to the ability to run at 25% load. Testing will see but so far I'm happy.

Compact. Clear Instructions. Portable for a 66 year-old guy. Enough power for bare basics needed during occasional power outages. Basic tools and correct amount of engine oil included. Well packaged. Excellent fit and finished. Super quiet.

Been Needing one of these inverters

Bought to recharge my solar power bank during an upcoming snowstorm if needed. Will use for small projects and camping. Only tested on propane so far. Setup went well. Side covers were tough opening initially to add oil. Was able to start on second pull (probably purging propane lines). Some initial smells that quickly cleared. Shutdown checked fittings, easily restarted first pull, small load in eco level was No Problem. Hope not required for emergency but look forward to using for projects.
