The spark plug cap on one of the two I bought was broken. The included plastic funnel was in pieces. Was this dropped or was it poor quality control?

I am pleased with the weight and performance. We use this to run our air conditioner in our boat when at anchor. It runs great and and is quiet.

Close to Expectations

My primary purpose in purchasing a generator is to have a relatively quiet power source for my RV's air conditioner system. This generator was recommended by a company that produces a "soft start" product to enable small generators to start the AC compressor. The generator performs as expected. I am delighted to be able to run my AC! It is a bit louder than I anticipated, but nothing I can't live with.

I purchased this generator to run a sump pump and some lights when the power goes out. After shopping around, I don't think you can beat this unit for the price. It has more output than anything else in its class. The controls are very easy to understand and the manual is spot-on with details on maintaining this gem.
