Nice Unit

Bought it to replace a conventional generator for camping - half the size / half the weight. Just tried it this morning. Seems to be as advertised. Looking to using it on a long trip upcoming, as well as, several one-weekers later this year. Not as quiet as I had hoped - however, my test spot is an echo chamber.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Very Nice Product

I only have a few hours use on the machine so far but I am very pleased. The machine arrived packed very well and all items listed were in the package. After filling with oil and about a half tank fuel it started on about the fifth pull (it took a few pulls to get the fuel in the system). I let it run about an hour with out a load just to let the engine start breaking in. It ran smooth, however I did notice that it acted like it missed occasionally, but that seemed to smooth out after a while.
I switched it to ECO mode and added a small load, estimate around 600 watts and it ran smooth without an issues. It is louder than I had hoped, but all within acceptable limits. Some of the sound issue may come from where it was located but I will find out later when I move it to the open pavilion I intend to use it in.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Awesome little unit!

First impressions were that this igen 2500 is a great lightweight compact generator to be mobile with. I’ve used it a handful of times camping and it’s been great to power up my campers appliances. Can’t speak for long term but as of right now I Would buy again.

Easy to use

I purchased the generator nine months ago for winter weather emergencies, but thankfully did not need it then, so I fired it up today. You just add the supplied bottle of engine oil, fill with gasoline, start on choke and turn the control to run.
I was afraid of overfilling the gasoline, so it did not run as long as I thought that it would. The gas tank has a red ring to indicate when to stop filling, but it isn't easy to see when the gasoline approaches the ring. I'll have to get used to it.
Initially, it started on the first pull, but I made the mistake of leaving it on choke without turning the dial to run. The engine flooded and I had to wait several hours to be able to start it again. I'll never repeat that mistake!
I'm glad that I tested the generator in decent weather, rather than waiting for that emergency situation.

Silent power

I've had my iGen2500 for a short time and it's performed beautifully and has met all my expectations. The generator noise level falls into the background noise at events so to not obstruct general conversation of my group. Great purchase!
