Bonus question and quick review

Dear Westinghouse:
Due to the proliferation of bad weather we've had in Louisiana this year, I decided to purchase a generator large enough to run our freezer and refrigerator in case our electricity went off. The iGen 2500 seemed to be the perfect choice for us, since it is small, easily handled by two senior adults, and would fit our needs. A generator is a major purchase for us. It took hours of watching YouTube videos to choose the best generator to fit our needs. We followed the instructions exactly as stated in the manual and the generator will be well taken care of for its lifetime.
We were delighted to discover that, if we left a review, we would qualify for a generator cover. So, I immediately complied, but quickly discovered the cover was not available. This is a great disappointment because we are on an extremely limited budget.
It seems to me that a company who is concerned about their reputation would be sure to produce as many covers as they produce the "Congratulations!" for free cover cards they place inside the box, or to stop shipping the generators with those cards. If the card had not been in the box, we would not have a sour taste about an unfulfilled promise.
At this point, we have run the generator for several hours to break it in and have experimented with several different configurations. We like it and we think it will suit us very well.

Easy to use and great features

Bought this after loosing power for a week after a hurricane. Tested it and it easily runs our refrigerator, microwave, TV and satellite, satellite internet and Wi-Fi and a power strip to charge our phones and use a couple of lamps. Had plenty of power left over if we need to run a few other things. Hopefully we won't need it but if we do we are well prepared now.

Just got it, quiet

Just received it. Right out of the box easy to set up and start. Have it running today to make sure all okay before we properly store it away. Quiet, providing power to our utility shed for several hours now. Suggest keeping the oil container so you can easily measure out correct amount of oil when refilling.

Great value!

Just received the 2200/2500 and I’m especially happy with all the parameters it monitors and provides indication for. The noise level was a bit higher than expected with the efficiency mode turned off. When the switch in turned on the noise level drops to a much more tolerable level. Overall can’t wait to put in in service at the campsite.

Lightweight, fairly quiet, great price

I have a larger, open-frame generator that is just too heavy to lug around to work sites. This Westinghouse generator provides all the power I need for most jobs and I can carry it into the worksite in one hand.

Item arrived packaged very nice, seems of good quality. This is the little brother to my IGen 4500 and that has been an excellent generator, so I hope the same for this one.
