Great Generator

Bought this generator three weeks ago and am happy that I did. Price was right and quality seems good. Very easy to start and digital display very accurate based on measurments with multimeter.

Well designed for ease of use

Bought this product this week. Instructions were easy to follow. Display panel is helpful. Oil in the exact amount is provided and the container can be reused for the next oil change. I plan to use this generator for home power outages. Primary applications will be powering furnace, refrigerator and cell phone charging. I find unit is nicely package and easy to look at.

very powerful little generator. My original unit was having an issue running while in 'run'. Westinghouse quickly provided a replacement unit and its working great! Great customer service. This is my 2nd Westinghouse generator. Highly recommended.

I bought it about a month ago and I no longer worry about the power going out from storm damage in my wooded neighborhood. The operation is straight forward with a clear readout and for the price I am very happy.

I bought the iGen2500 a couple months ago and I’ve used it with my power tools and I haven’t had any issues so far. The noise is minimal. Overall i’m satisfied with this product.

TIP: Neutral Bonding Plug Required for Gas Furnace

I bought this as a backup for my house during ice storms, which happen all too often in Oklahoma City. In 2020 I got to test it out while we were without power for 13 days. Not a fun experience, but a great test for the generator!
The generator performed flawlessly. It started up easily, ran great and was able to power the gas furnace, refrigerator, television, internet router and a couple of other electronics. In fact, with all of those things running it still had more capacity!
:: GAS FURNACE TIP ::
Here's the important tweak I had to make. At first, the furnace would not run at all. I opened up the furnace panel and found a blinking LED indicating that there was a grounding problem. I did some research and eventually came across a forum that suggested that little generators like these sometimes need a neutral bonding plug. I watched a YouTube video on how to make a neutral bonding plug with supplies from the hardware store and it was easy to do myself. Once I plugged the neutral bonding plug into the generator, my furnace happily turned on, lit the gas burner and started up the blower, supplying much needed heat to the whole house.
