Powerful little generator

Was looking for a generator that would be used while camping, and as a backup power source if power goes out in house (just for lights, smaller things). Unit appears to be well made, weighs under 50 lbs.

Hurricane outage back-up

Purchased to run fridge and window unit AC when power out. Easy set up with included oil and tools. Started on 2nd pull and works as advertised. Hoping I don't have to use it!

Just enough power

Just enough power to run my AC unit, without dual units. Very quite when on economy mode, so far just a few hours on it, but easy to start and use.

So far, I'm pleased with this generator. It was properly boxed to avoid shipping damage. I really like the digital information panel. With this unit, and a much larger open frame generator, I feel well prepared. I've never owned a (H) or (Y) generator, so I can't compare them, but the internal components all appear to be top quality. Only time will tell how reliable the igen2500 is. After proving itself over the long run, this machine may get a revised rating of five stars.

We ordered the iGen2500 to use when camping. It will also be great during hurricane season in Florida. It is so quiet compared to our large generator and is very fuel efficient.
