Failed to function out of the box

This is the second IGen 2500 I have purchased. The first seems to work ok, though I’ve not used it for any extended period yet.
This one will only start on on choke but cuts off when switched to run and it will not produce any power
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Travel trailer saver

This is a great little Generator. I use this to power my travel trailer when we dry camp. Works like a champ, I have about 50 hours of use on my and no issues. I have used it in 12 hour stints with no issues, used to power the frig in the trailer once when we where stranded on the side of the road. I get about 9 hours on a tank of fuel, powering the frig, lights, tv, coffee maker, no AC. I have a soft/easy start installed on my AC, with that device installed, I can run my AC with this generator as well, that does burn more fuel.
Over all I have enjoyed this generator, worked as described and seems to be holding up well.

Lightweight and quiet

I purchased my first ever generator after losing power for a day following tropical storm Zeta's path through metro Atlanta. I initially purchase a much larger generator, but returned it unopened because it was very heavy and bulky. I wanted something that I could move around without straining my back. This generator fits the bill. I am in my 60's and I can lift the unit and move it around. The initial setup was easy and it cranked easily after only a few pulls on the recoil handle. It runs pretty quiet for a gasoline powered engine. I also like that it is an inverter generator and the engine throttles down when it isn't pulling a heavy load.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Super Quiet & Efficient!

I bought this product a little over 2 months ago, have about 35 hours on it. Its a great unit, really quiet, and super efficient.
The only 2 reasons I didn't give it 5 stars is because:
1) Even when on solid flat surface, the display screen has a minor shake to it.
2) The 120v rubber plug cover could be a little better sealed. The other plug covers are great, they fit nice and tight, but the one people probably use the most has the weakest seal.
Either way, would definitely recommend!

Awesome Generator

I just purchased this generator a couple of weeks ago. At age 65, I have never operated or owned a generator. Today, I finally decided to fire it up and learn to operate it. I will tell you that if you take a few minutes to review the instructions, it will make everything so easy. I encountered no surprises and I was amazed at how quietly it operated. I plugged in a couple of power cords and got power to the light fixtures immediately. The shut down process was simple!
I am thrilled with this purchase.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought this on line 2 days ago and already received it. Very awesome delivery timing. This is lighter then expected and very easy start up directions

Powerful, efficient unit

I bought the Westinghouse iGen2500 for use with a travel trailer. Started right up after the initial oil fill. The "Efficiency Mode" switch is a great feature, as it makes the engine run a very low RPM when not under load. The digital display is nice as well.
I would recommend this to a friend!
