Second pull and it started

I bought this as a backup in case we have a rolling blackout in So. California. Followed the directions and it started on the second pull. Put is on half load and it ran flawlessly.

Quiet and Light

Easy to assemble. Take the side cover off and add oil.
Ran it for about 3 hours, making sure the unit worked.
Started up on the second pull and tested with a shop vac.
Worked like a champ!

Very quiet

Bought this a month ago. Just tried it out yesterday. Ran very quietly. Great to take on camping trips since it is very compact and not to heavy. Also getting a bonus generator cover.

Got us through 2 weeks with no power.

We used the Igen2500 for 2 weeks after hurricane Ida. We powered 2 refrigerators, 2 fans, 2 phone charges, a PC, cable modem and wi fi router periodically during the day and all night ,overnight on just 2 gallons of gas per day. Saved us as we did not know when gasoline would be available.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is my first generator. I needed something that easy and dependable to use when I can’t hook up my Rv to electric. Uses it this weekend and was easy and worked great!

Great looking unit....Had issue of smell of melting plastic or rubber on initial start-up...I removed end panel at exhaust side and found a large rubber cap laying in the air intake used to cool the motor....i put the rubber cap in the end of the motor where it belonged...Don't know if any damage was caused by over-heating
