Small footprint for tight storage spaces

Bought this to help keep our two freezers and fridge running in case of power outages. They have become more frequent in our neighborhood even with minor electrical storms!

I had a small difficulty removing the access cover the first time even though I had removed the 2 phillips screws. In desperation I pried the cover off enough to get fingers into it. One of the small guiding pegs broke off as I was doing this. I will try to glue it back on but I am not hopeful that it will stay fixed.

Heavier than Expected

I like the variable power feature that saves gas when running. Easy to start, pretty quiet as long as it is not loaded up. Runs my RV AC just fine.

I bought this as a backup to a famous red generator that I already own, and like it because of the higher output capacity. The feature set is good. The generator is now broken in and prepped for storage, so while I can't make a side-by-side comparison, I do think that it is a little bit louder than the red one. But certainly not by much.
My spark plug was good (and a pull after break-in reveals that everything is good in the combustion chamber) and my fuel tank was perfectly clean. I would have been upset if it looked like the one I saw in the photo in the other review. I've noticed that the button to cycle through the display is a little bit bouncy and can take you to the second next display instead of to the next display. No biggie.
The one thing that bothers me a little bit is the way the engine runs. It starts right up with no trouble, but it has a tendency to hiccup a smidge. It runs, but also acts as if there's a microscopic interruption in fuel/spark/something and you can see the entire unit twist ever so slightly when it does this. It's like, "purrrrrrrrrr bleh-purrrrrrrrrr bleh-purrrrrrrrr...." I'm not sure if this is normal or not. It's very minor and it certainly doesn't prevent the generator from doing what it is supposed to do. Maybe the folks here at Westinghouse have some insight into this and can make suggestions.
Anyway, ultimately only time will tell, but so far, I am pleased.

Awesome quiet generator

Bought to have for the occasional storm that we lose power for a few hours to a day. It works like a charm, starts right up and is super quiet. Comes with everything you need, oil, spark plug wrench just buy gas. This comes in at a great price too. I am very happy with purchase.
