Quality in a small Package

There is many inverter generators in this class. But this Westinghouse has more features then others with a price a lot less. Westinghouse has been a great brand for me and will continue to purchase them

Great compact generator

Use it at our camper in Michigan where we have no electricity. Runs our lights, fans, TV and coffee pot etc. Wouldn't want to go without it!

Powers as advertised and quiet

I bought two of these during the Florida hurricane season tax-free weekend (May 2021), and I just got around to unpacking them today. They were easy to set up (just add the oil and gas), and the meters accurately reported the power being drawn on the machines (based on the wattage info in a hair dryer manual) . I also purchased a parallel cord, but I've not tested that yet.
This review is for the "first" unit I unpacked. All in all, I'm happy with the purchase, except that the muffler cover is loose. As I tried to tighten it up, I realized that the plastic panel above the muffler cover is bent, so a tab that holds the cover firmly in place cannot "click into place." Also, one of the screws that holds the muffler cover will not tighten, no matter what I do. It doesn't affect the operation of the unit right now, but I'm a little perturbed to have this happen with a brand new unit. Also, it makes me wonder how well the unit will hold up over time. Because of that, I removed one star from my review.
This review was given in exchange for a free generator cover, but the review contains my honest, independent opinion.

Very happy with the igen2500

We bought this for camping, and I’ve been very happy with it. Powers everything that we need including coffee pots microwaves lighting etc. for the price I’m very happy.

Powerhouse in Small Package

I purchased this to use for emergency RV power. Tried less powerful models and they would not start the AC. This unit worked as long as I ran it on "regular" not ECO. on ECO it couldn't catch up to the demand fast enough. I have only used it once for an hour so I cannot yet attest to the durability - but it seems to be just what I need.
