This is my first Digital Inverter Generator I took it out of box and followed all the instructions to get it ready to work. Put the gas in it on the first pull it started right up. I ran a electric chainsaw for four hours with no problems. I purchased it for a power outage to run some things in my house or at my daughters house. We are very pleased with this Generator and look forward for many uses that we may incur over the future.

Great to have when you need it

Everything looks top notch on this product. I bought to have on hand when the next hurricane comes to the coast. I am going to purchase another to run parallel for more power when needed.

Great Generator

I bought this generator in Jan after my Yamaha generator took a dive. This generator is mainly used for remote camping situations where we need to charge our trolling motors. Sometimes this generator will be used for tailgating and other applications. Overall I’m happy with the purchase and would recommend this generator to anyone.

Shipping or Assembly Damage

We bought an iGen 2500 unit back in February. After a short power outage last night, decided it was time to check it out and get it ready for the next one.
Unpacked the unit which had not been opened yet and everything was going really well. Well packaged, easy and concise start-up instructions, great compact unit. Filled up with oil and gas and ready to start. But it wouldn’t start. After quite a few pulls and it wasn’t sounding like it would catch, did some trouble shooting and found out that the spark plug and the plastic on the connector were broken. Odd as there was no damage to the box, internal packaging material or the exterior of the generator, and seems like everything is pretty well protected inside the unit.
Removed the spark plug and the broken plastic and ceramic pieces from the area, then got a new spark plug and reinstalled it. Closed things up and the unit started on the first pull.
So, still happy we have the generator and excited to be ready for the next outage. Just took longer than I expected. And very odd related to the damage.
