Cranked on second pull and ran very quiet. Has an efficiency mode that makes it run longer by turning down idle when not being drawn on.

Great Generator

I bought this generator last week after spending a fair amount of time looking at several different products. What let me to the iGen2500 was the quietness, fuel efficiency, the digital readout panel and Westinghouse reputation for quality.
When the generator arrived I went I filled it with oil and gas and it started on the second pull. I was impressed! I only have one hour of run time on it at this point but confident it will do a great job.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I just got this generator. Been following some online blog direction to break in the motor. No issues so far. It’s definitely not as quite as I expected. I won’t be running it in a camp ground for sure.

Easy to use and portable

The item came with all the accessories needed right out of the box to begin immediate use (with the exception of gasoline, of course). The generator started up the first time after a few pulls to prime the engine and on the first pull on subsequent starts. It is relatively light weight with a 72 year old man able to move it without much effort. The digital display is helpful, but would be better if mounted on the top of the unit.

Nice Generator

I brought this generator to run my refrigerator cooler at work. I used to plug it into my truck cigarette plug but it drained my battery in a short time. This generator is perfect since it is compact and runs most of the work day without refueling it. It’s quiet too.

Just got this,easy to read directions,started right up.Not quiet as loud a a push mower. Will power a 1500 watt electric heater and a few 100 watt lights. Now I am waiting for an emergency power outage to see how it stands up to several hours of constant use.

I bought this generator in response to 4 day power outage.After reviewing other reviews, I decide that the quite yet powerful generator is just what I need for overnight application. The product was ship two days ahead of schedule with no box dents or scuffs. I was very pleased with the attention to detail in which Westinghouse shows in its packaging and manuals.
