I bought this about two months ago to prepare for winter outages. It was as easy to unbox and assemble the few parts requiring attachment. Instructions with drawings were clear and easy to understand. Had a little difficulty starting i assume due to fuel and oil that was added at time of first startup making its way through engine. Also took a while for me to understand that both a 32A and 30A breaker was required for voltage to be available at 30A outlet.
Generator easily handled load attached and appeared to quickly (cycles not seconds) respond to motor loads turning on.
We will see when actual outages occur on longer operation how the generator responds.

The generator started as soon as I put gas and oil in it. It is pretty quiet and seems to work well. Should last a long time.I am glad I bought this generator.

Great Generator

This is the second EcoGen10000 generator I bought. I bought the first one in March and liked it so much that I decided to buy another one to be able to run in parallel to boost the output. This also gives me a backup to my backup, and is much cheaper than buying one huge generator. The output of one is honestly enough to run two refrigerators, a chest freezer, lights, and sump pump at the same time. The reason I want to parallel them is because I also have a well pump to run, and although one of these will run that with several other appliances at the same time, it cannot run everything by itself, especially with so many motors with high inrush current. These generators give me peace of mind, and I don’t fear a power outage anymore. Lastly, the fuel economy is great too. With our last outage, I ran this generator most of the day on a single 5-gal tank of gas.

Excellent generator!

I bought this generator for emergency power during power outages. I love that it is an inverter generator with Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) under 3% which protects my electronic equipment and appliances and it is very portable. Unit started right up. I don't understand why some people complain about the oil fill location. It's very easy to add oil with the funnel Westinghouse provides. When starting the generator, the manual seems to state that after you switch the battery on, the Start button will turn green. I waited for that to happen but it didn't. I finally pressed the Start button and then the button turned green and the generator started right up. When I first tested my generator, I connected a light to a 120 volt outlet. I didn't realize that I needed to turn the 32A circuit breaker on. I then connected my generator to a 30 amp transfer switch in my garage. I turned the 30 amp circuit breaker on at the generator, but I wasn't getting any power inside my house. I finally figured out that I needed to turn both the 30 amp and 50 amp circuit breakers on at the generator and everything powered up fine. I'm very pleased with this generator.

Great Invertor Generator

Great so far! Easy final assembly, push-button start, smooth running when especially in ECO Mode. Good CO2 sensor and multiple options for powering tools or your whole house. I use the 50 Amp outlet to power up my house during power outages.
